Disappointed, resin opal

Nowhere in the description does it say this is a resin opal. Even on the description of the item it states "opal stone dimensions"
When I received the item it says on the sticker that it is opal resin.

Clearly in the item care if states not to rub against other jewelry, but for some reason the earrings were on a card that was then bent in half where both earrings were touching each other, this is how it was taken out of the jewelry bag, so it was done before putting it in the bag.
Furthermore, both stems were completely bent down to grip the card. This does not seem as if it happened in shipping, they were intentionally bent.

I'm very confused why it would have been so poorly handled and mistreated before sending.

I'm disappointed in the way they were packaged and described on the site. (other items arrived just fine, so this was not a shipping problem.)
