HONOLULU (May 29, 2018) – Honolulu-based Crazy Shirts has donated $25,000 in proceeds from the sale of its Big Island Kokua t-shirts to the American Red Cross. With its earlier $5,000 contribution and in-kind donation of clothing items, the company has given more than $50,000 to support Red Cross disaster relief, including efforts on Hawaii Island.
“We are so grateful to Crazy Shirts for their generosity, compassion and aloha in helping those affected by the volcanic activity. Their donation will support relief efforts to those in need,” said Coralie Chun Matayoshi, Chief Executive Officer for the American Red Cross of Hawaii.
“Hawaii is a close-knit community, so it’s important for us to lend a hand when our neighbors are in need and we’re proud that our fans also demonstrated their support,” said Scott Maroney, President of Crazy Shirts.
